GLOBAL TREMORS

The global economy has been terribly hit,

Triggering panic attacks even among the fit.

Prices of essential items are steadily soaring,

Resulting in several people grumbling and crying.

Added to these are the global weather patterns,

Which are more fickle than the flickering candle lanterns.

All these have resulted in the sudden and frequent natural disasters,

Which seem to be a great puzzle to even the expert weather forecasters.

People in general seem to be helpless and powerless,

Against this current state of affairs which are endless.

They know not how to handle this frightening crisis,

For, they are still groping to understand their basis.

For the common lot, especially the very poor,

Getting a decent meal they are certainly not sure.

While the average income earner wonders how to make ends meet,

Being blessed with only an ordinary pair of hands and feet.

Some things are beyond man’s humble comprehension.

They can do nothing except view things with apprehension.

Undoubtedly this is the only question that pops in everyone’s mind,

“What has the great lord in store for mankind?”
